In 1991, Ann began her yoga journey with a simple saying in mind: *“The age you start practicing yoga is the age you’ll remain.”* At the time, she was in her vibrant 27th year, and her practice focused on staying beautiful and maintaining a good physique.
In 2004, she began practicing Ashtanga Yoga. As the years of practice and teaching accumulated, Ann felt a persistent sense of incompleteness. She explored various yoga systems, seeking new approaches to enhance her practice. Then, at the age of 40, she reconnected with Ashtanga Yoga. This time, she found a sense of stability in her practice.
The early morning Mysore sessions became a cherished time for Ann, offering a moment of solitude and tranquility amidst the busy demands of family life and a professional career. It was her way of enjoying a peaceful connection with herself.
In 2009, Ann joined Space as an instructor. While staying committed to her Mysore practice, she maintained her curiosity, exploring different yoga systems to refine her self-practice through their philosophies.
Now, as she steps into her 60s, Ann continues her Mysore practice, embracing yoga as a lifelong companion. It brings her joy, physical ease, and a graceful balance of mind and body for a fulfilling life.
