A nature enthusiast ever since she was little, Dale also loves the beauty of art. In the course of embracing Mother Nature and the pursue of mind-body health, it was inevitable that she would be drawn to yoga as well. Through her consistent practice and personal experience, she had come to believe yoga is really an effective tool in helping people. That’s why after years of practice, she decided to attain her teacher certification. Embarking on this path of yoga teaching, it marked as a progression to a higher level of being in her life.
Dale’s main practice is Hatha yoga, supported by her studies in Iyengar yoga. She also loves the free and creative practice of flow vinyasa. In her experience, when one explores the edges of alignment, one can simultaneously develop and purify, bringing endless inner transformation of mind, body and spirit.
Her over ten years of experience in teaching kids English had helped her made a smooth entry into the field of teaching kids yoga. It has been a lot of fun for her to be around kids. Aside from the teaching them creative postures, pose names, and many other expressions of imagination, what Dale loves the most is the quiet, meditation time with kids.
Whether it is teaching adult or kid’s yoga, Dale is very mindful and respectful of each individual’s unique body and life experience. She gives appropriate suggestions when it is suitable. She uses encouraging style of teaching to help her students to build up their courage to attempt deeper exploration into yoga. She invites the students to accurately record and observe their learning process, bit by bit. By reestablishing good mind/body habits in class and replacing the ones that do not serve us in our growth, maybe one day we’ll suddenly discover that we actually like ourselves. She is grateful that years ago she was able to let go of her usual thinking pattern, and allowed the intelligence of her heart to lead her to yoga.
